Gangster Holiday

“My God!” I blurted out to my client.
“This is starting to sound like a
Henry Hill Christmas!”

This was ten months ago, in January.

“Who’s Henry Hill?” she said.

“He’s a murderous gangster in the
movie Goodfellas,” I said.
“But never mind. I just mean that
this sounds like a very STRESSFUL,
OVERLY FULL day.”

I didn’t want to get distracted telling her
about Goodfellas. But I’ll
share it with you, Dear Reader!

On one VERY FULL DAY, Henry Hill:
- wakes up, does a line of cocaine
- starts cooking an ENORMOUS family dinner
- tries and fails to sell some guns
- gets tailed by a helicopter
- narrowly avoids an accident
- picks up his brother at the hospital
- hides the guns at his in-law’s house
- takes his wife shopping
- more cooking
- succeeds at selling the guns
- receives a shipment of cocaine
- more cooking
- delivers the cocaine to his girlfriend
- helps her cut the coke with quinine
- finishes cooking, eats the family dinner
- preps his drug carrier to travel
- gets arrested

(Also, he’s doing coke the whole day.)

Even though you’re not dealing drugs,
running around with organized crime,
or selling guns…

… can you see a little of your
holiday experience in Henry Hill?
Running around, doing
15 million errands while also
trying to cook an enormous family meal?

Trying to create a meaningful
family experience but still juggling, um,
professional commitments?

You may be wondering why I’m talking
about the holidays even though it’s
only October.

I’ll tell you why:

Holidays tend to be a VERY FRAUGHT
time of year for my clients. The ones who
enjoy their holidays the MOST
take the time BEFORE the holidays to
think about how they want them to go!

They consider possible obstacles.
They consider their boundaries.
They consider who’s going to
show up and what situations might arise.

If YOU want this year to be different…
If you want to ENJOY your holidays.
If you want to feel RELAXED and CONNECTED.

…I have a very affordable way I can help.

I’m teaming up with my dynamo colleague,
Nicole Lance, to offer a holiday
“Ditch the Drama!” workshop,
at no cost to you.

No matter what or how you celebrate,
you deserve a holiday that feels good
to you!

Warmly,
Emma
